  • Franciscan Health participates in the Association of American Medical Colleges' Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

  • Yes! We offer audition rotations, which typically consist of 2 weeks of Family Medicine Service (inpatient adult), 1 week of Pediatric Service (inpatient pediatrics), and 1 week of urgent care/night float.

    To be considered for an audition rotation with the Franciscan Health Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program, students must be currently in good standing and actively enrolled in a US medical school. For consideration, students must provide the following:

    • CV or Resume

    • Current Letter of Good Standing from medical school

    • USMLE Step 1and/or COMLEX Level 1 score transcript (prefer fist pass, but fail does not disqualify you from audition)

    • Brief, written statement on your commitment to Family Medicine

    • Statement explaining any ties to Indianapolis, Indiana, Franciscan, or the surrounding area

    • Dates for the rotation (multiple preferred)

    Audition rotations are available in April, May, and August to January.

  • Yes! If you are unable to join us for an audition rotation, we offer various shadowing opportunities, which could include an afternoon, a day, or a few days. Please reach out to our GME coordinator, Amy Bova at Amy.Bova@franciscanalliance.org.
